Sayan, I'm not trying to raise anything, just trying to avoid a lot of extra work if I can find a generous soul out there.

Are you saying there is work being done on correcting these libraries as we speak?

I can see the JIS sections are present inside OBD in Japan.mdb. Can you please tell us exactly what is wrong in that database so that we can report that to the development team for rectification.

The JIS library from ProStructures is not correct. I already have an enhancement logged for this. Just seeing if someone has been through the process that would be willing to share. 

No luck so rebuilding the library myself.

The issue I have is that the JIS sections delivered with ProStructures (PS), and thus OBD, are not correct according to my research.

PFC channels delivered with PS are actually EU sections, and while these are used in the region, they are not strictly JIS sections.

On the other hand, TFC sections ARE covered by JIS steel standards, these I found under JIS_CHNL_2, but there is also JIS_CHNL_3 that I can’t find in any JIS steel std.

Also, there are only 2 Z purlin sections supplied under JIS_ZED, but there are quite a number of other section sizes that are not delivered.

Part of what I need to do is sort out what we need to add as we have some major projects in this region coming up and I’m not used to this sort of confusion with Bentley delivered sections.

I’m afraid I’m not available this week via Teams meeting, but will be free next week or happy to answer any further emails.
