Hello,
I am trying to make a door element for a revoling door, with a regular cell as the underlying 3d part. When I try to place it, the flip handle is so far away from the element that I get a "Solids Working Area Information" warning every time I open the file. It also makes the file a lot slower. The cell itself doesn't seem to be the problem, because when I drop the application element to a regular cell all the warnings and slowness stops. On what is the distance of the flip handle to the door based? Can I change this?
I am using OBD 10.09.02.36.
With kind regards, and thanks in advance.
Jeroen
Hello Jeroen,
The door cell that you are using is a custom one that you have created or it comes with out of box OBD? If so then can you please share that cell with us. That would be helpful for investigation.

Attached you find our cell. It is a custom one.It is the "tourniquet orbis trisense".

I am not able to see any cell inside that .cel file. Please see the attached image.
Hi Alifur,
There was a fault in the last file, sorry. Attached the corrected file. To be clear, placing it as a cell gives no problem, but placing it as a door creates the problem with the flip handle.

Placing the door from catalogs and then reopening is not giving any SWA info. See the below image.
When you are referring to flip handle, you mean select element -> right click -> Modify han direction right? Also i am not seeing any direction mentioned in the cell itself.
This is the result I get after placing it in an otherwise empty file.
I am placing this door with the "place door" tool, after I made it in the catalogue.
The Problem is the flip handle being so far away, see below for a zoomed in picture and zoomed out picture:
Attached you find the file with only the door inside.7587.test.dgn
Hello Jerome, I too have done the same thing, I have used the cell you have provided. I was doing all my testing with OBD 9.1. Will test the same thing in OBD 9.2.
