In OBD, we found that we can add 2D space for one area to indicate the function of the area. But can we add 3D zone in the model to indicate the function of the area with limited from X, Y, Z axis?
Hi Pride,Can you please elaborate on your requirement? Do you want a space option that is three-dimensional? Regards,Shreya
Yes, Shreya.
Hi Shreya, could you help give some suggestion on this? Thanks a lot.
Hi Pride,
I believe what you are looking for is to select a 3D MicroStation solid (slab in this example) instead of a 2D shape, like this:

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the tip, I didn't know this was a possibility!
However on my brief testing, I discovered that it only works with SmartSolids and not with Parametric solids. Is that intentional?
Below a screenshot of the shape I created:
I used the coloured lines to link the schedule lines to the shapes. Right most one is just a 2D shape.
I like that the ceiling height is recognized for the SmartSolid!
Left most solid is the parametric solid (before convertion to smartsolid as the middle one). The tool didn't take this one as input. I created it by extrusion of two 2D shapes, then "Unite" to combine them into a single element.
