[OBD U9.2] Consecutive delete building features on structural members crash software

Hi,

Not sure if this has been reported before. OBD seems to crash when I use the "Delete building features" tool on the same element twice. Attached is a sample file with 1 EA member that has 3 holes. Attempting use the "delete building features" to remove more than 1 hole on the member will make OBD freeze up and crash on my end, tested in example BuildingAU workset.

  • Hi Tuan,

Thanks for letting us know about this.

We have also tested the same in OBD update 10 and the issue is reproducing. It looks to me like a bug. So, can you please file an SR so that we can attach that bug to the SR.

But we have found a workaround for this. Please refer to the video attached.

  • Thanks for the update Sayan. SR 7001508925 raised.

  • Hi Tuan,

Also, on PS elements we can use shape properties options to delete those features.

  • Thanks Sandeep. Looks like that would be our work around for now. Just wondering any thing will be filed for this?

  • Hi Tuan,

We have this bug filed Bug 1047412: Using "Delete building feature" to remove more than 1 hole at a time on the member is freezing OBD.
