The Bentley CONNECTION Client came up last Thursday with an update to something called iTwin ***.. (c above). As I had admin priviledges for that day I started the install and continued to work - using strictly non-Bentley software.
I was very surprised to find the installer still running today. Is it safe to cancel the install half-way through? Does anybody have any experience with this?
Hi Michael,
Thanks for letting us know about this.
That seems a bit odd that the installer is still running today and hasn't got cancelled.
Does the installation showing any progress?

Hi Michale,
Can you please try to end this task from the Task Manager itself?
Meanwhile I will try to find out a way to install iTwin Analytical Synchronizer successfully.
Please follow the below steps to install iTwin Analytical Synchronizer at your end.
1. First of all please go to your Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features and then search for OpenBuildings Designer, do right click and click on "Change".
2. Then then OBD dialog box will appear, click on Configure.
3. After that when the next menu will appear scroll all the way down and check if the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer is ticked on.
After that do next and click on Modify to accept those changes.
HTH!
