Is it possible to create a section view, using the section call out tools, that has an angle in it? I'm aware you can add a step or a gap in a section but not too sure if it's possible to have an angle.
As an example, would it be possible to create 1 section along the dashed line?
Not that I'm aware of. For that kind of output, I normally just create 2 sections then clip and superimpose them.
Yeah, that's what I've done in the past. Was hoping there might be a better solution but I'll stick with that.
It would also be usefull to make certain parts of a plan section cut higher than the main cut plane, for example if parts of the floor are higher than others.

Hi Stefan, that sounds like the "create step" function:
https://docs.bentley.com/LiveContent/web/OpenBuildings%20Designer%20Help-v7/en/GUID-06F18C15-5192-C6DC-4E02-F058CBBF24C6.html
Yes, partly. I was thinking about the other dimension too. for example if you have a rectangular area in the center of the building, you'd have to create a step in both directions (x/y) to make it appear correctly on a plan view.
I'm not quite sure what the result will look like to be honest.
StefanC is on to a real problem when you have a building with floors with different levels. A planar cut through the building often miss doors, windows etc in lower or higher parts.
A function like DRAW ON SOLID that create 'protrusions' to the cut plane would be very usefull. That function would also work on sections.
