Getting this fault on a regular basis. Any idea of a fix or if disabling the add in .dll is a viable solution?

This is a fairly recent issue that has arisen, probably around 3 weeks ago?
Can you please try to repair your OBD and then let us know about the outcome?
I will try that if it doesn't lose my interfaces and setup. Do you do the repair function from the Windows Control Panel?
