I may be off base with this, but is the following configurations still necessary with the current DG system in V8i?
#---------------------------------------------------------------------- # The _TF_ANNOTATE_*_XPATH variables are used to define the XPath # to the DataGroup Definition and property that are used to store the # value that is used in the particular Annotation tool. #---------------------------------------------------------------------- TF_ANNOTATE_DOOR_ID_XPATH=us_ncs_Door/@id TF_ANNOTATE_WINDOW_ID_XPATH=us_ncs_Window/@id
This is from the ArchDatasetNCSUS.pcf delivered...
As far as I know, yes. At least if the tools haven't changed...
These are the variables that point the Place Door and Window ID tools to their respective DataGroup properties. Otherwise, a door could become a curtain wall, a window could become a stair. It would be mass chaos. ;-)
Defines the datagroup property used in the door and window annotation tool. However, today I would encourage the use of the "Place Datagroup Annotation tool", because it can annotate anything with Datagroup information. The specific door and window annotation tool is really not necessary.. but it could be used to specify different attributes.
