Adjusting Hollow Metal door heads

I need to modify the head of a hollow metal door to be 4" without adjusting the rest of the frame. I am not sure if this needs to be done in PCS or in Bentley. When in bentley, if you double click on a door it gives you an option to adjust the frame thickness but that adjust the whole frame. I need to only adjust the head of the frame and leave the jambs at the default width. Any suggestions on where to modify and how to modify would be great.

  • It depends.

Many doors created by Bently are sweep elements across the entire frame.  For that one you can't do anything.

Attached is a hollow metal door that allows you to set the head.
