I was unable to install the latest Bentley Mechanical on top of the latest V8i SS1. It told me the versions were incompatible. Thus, I am unable to have the benefits of the Luxology updates as well as have Bentley Mechanical on the same machine. Am very much looking forward to the SS1 release for Mechanical- (I know this thread is regarding Architecture, but same idea)

I know there are some luxo bug fixes that I'd really like to be using!

Technically.... yes, I'm guessing that combination would install and load up just fine.

However, be aware that it's *not* a tested and certified combination, therefore we cannot officially support it. Since the SELECT Series 1 version is much newer than the Architecture release candidate we can't know for sure how the changes in MicroStation SS1 (56 builds worth) may or may not affect the functionality that Architecture relies on.

Regarding Bentley Architecture itself, yes, we are planning to release a fully compatible SELECT Series 1 version as well, most likely during the second half of this month.
