For some reason I can't force BA to change accuracy of spaces' area and it always rounds to .12
All my unit preferences are set to 0.1, also in "Manage DataSet Annotation Cells". I'm lost... any ideas about that?
Thanks a lot, it works perfect now!
No problem at all! I wish I could answer all questions like that. :-)
Hi Michael,
You should find that setting the user preferences as shown below displays m2.
To distribute this and other preferences consistently seed files can be set up for user preferences as described in Site Standards #3 - User Preference Seeds.
The Unit of Display can be fixed by setting the variable below at site or project level:
_ATFSPACES_DISPLAY_UNITS = m2 %lock _ATFSPACES_DISPLAY_UNITS
The %lock statement is optional, if you have projects that use imperial units the variable shouldn't be locked at the site level.
If you set _ATFSPACES_DISPLAY_UNITS = m2 it is essential that either the preference is set as shown with 'Unit of Measure' set to Meters, or if the 'Use Working Units' box is ticked, that all files displaying space labels have working units set to Meters so they are in sync with the 'Unit of Display'. The 'Unit of Display' is an override that only affects graphic display.
Which version are you using?
Regards
Marc
