BA 08.09.04.46 doesn't seem to be able to use a custom line style as a centerline. I can use all the standard delivered styles and output is correct in the extractions but assigning a custom style to the part gives incorrect results. A centerline does show up in the extraction but it is not the centerline that is assigned in the part definition.
Can anyone confirm this behavior? Is there a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Does your part have a unifier attached to it. I have found the problem that if you wall is using a unifier it will take on the Centerline symbology of the Unifer part and not the Specific part you defined. This issue was sent to TSG over a year ago not sure what ever happened to it.

Thanks Lauren. I used your input to run some tests but the centerlines that are set to use custom line styles still do not work. I assigned the same centerline to parts with unifiers toggled on as well as parts that do not have unifiers - same result. My extractions still do not show the correct (assigned) centerline.
Although my unifiers did not have centerlines toggled on. If they did it would seem that works as designed. Looks like I'm seeing a different issue.
Can anyone test a custom linestyle as a centerline and let me know if the problem is on my end? Our client requires a specific linestyle for fire rated walls. It would be nice if BA would generate the centerlines as defined by part.
I just did a test and it worked. I drew 2 round ducts: One with a centerline of style 7, and one with a centerline of "Fire Rated 4 Hours.", (I defined these at the Part level). I then ran an extraction of both ducts, side-by-side. At first, I didn't see the centerlines, but then I remembered to turn on Include Hidden Lines in the Forward View; both centerlines then showed up.
