Recently, there have been a number of questions re. the correlation between Annotation Scale and ACS Scale in Bentley Building applications as well as terminators in Heads Up Display that are far too large.
A document is now available from the Files area that tries to clarifies these issues.
Kind regards,
Volker
Hi Volker
that consides with my findings as well with the addition that it also affects readout of wall size etc in Dataset Explorer and subsequently size of placed! geometry ! See ST8000886408 etc.
So why do we have ACS scale? - and why is it changed?
My experience is that suddenly I have ACSs with origin and scale I never created deliberately.

Thanks Volker, Hud and display but can not use format eg 10.34 m is only possible from 10 - 34 (PrimaryUnits - SecondaryUnits).
See video http://communities.bentley.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer-Components-PostAttachments/00-00-11-10-05/Hud-and-Display.rarHow can you solve?Joaquin
Hello Volker,
Two questions regarding HUD
I am wondering if there is a way to keep the dimension text above the dimension line?
Right now it always appears below the line.
Also, Is there a way to keep zoom from affecting the text size and location?
When I zoom into an area, the dimension text get small and moves far away from
dimension line and makes it hard to find.
(it also doesn't help that it is far below the dimension line and not above)
However, when I zoom out the text gets large and close to dimension string
and can even cross over the dimension line.
Just doesn't seem very polished.
Thanks, Tom
