Hi. I've just started to use the cut pattern in the dataset manager and have a small problem (I hope). I've attached a pdf were you ca see that my linear hatching is placing itself over a steel beam. The beam is elevetad and is laying on the concrete wall (it's a reflected view), but the beam nearly disappears behind the hatch.
Thanks, Andreas
Is the hatch on the cut plane on in the forward view?
I don't think I follow.
This view is made from a Cut section and a Back view. We would prefer using Fill color but since this doesn't work in reflected view it would be great if linear hatching could be used instead. But it seems that the hatching in the cut plane has a higher priority then the elevated object. Theoretically, this is correct but I can't send out a drawing where things disappears behind the hatch. When I use cut fill color this is not a problem..
Ah... I see. I thought your PDF was showing a drawing extraction.
What happens if you move the cut plane above the beam so that the hatch is physically above it? i'm curious to see whether this is specific to the Back view, or if the Forward view shows the same behavior.
Oh, maybe I should have specified that. Anyway, forward- or back view makes no difference.
