I don't see any text in your post...?
Strange. I am looking for the proper workflow to get rendered spaces. From what i have read it appears spaces should be a separate from the model correct?
Hey Matt,
Not sure if this is the solution but take a look at the user preference in the Bentley Architecture category "Space Shape Offset for Rendering"
Workspace > Preferences > Bentley Architecture > Spaces > Space Shape Offset for Rendering
Mine is set to 0:1
I've tried to recreate what you describe and my labels show up, I've applied the various shaded display modes to my drawing file, Illustration, Monochrome, Smooth, etc. and created a new shaded display mode.
Mine is also set to 0:1. If i were to forward you the files wuld you be able to determine what is happening?
I also see correct results like Paul. I can't seem to get the label to not display.
Matt, I can certainly give it a try, e-mail if they'll fit otherwise you can ftp them.
Let me know if you need the ftp location.
Matt and I went over this issue "off-line" from the forums, thought I would share our findings back out here.
Turns out the fix for having the space labels appear on top of the rendered spaces was to adjust the update sequence of the reference files in the drawing model.
In the reference file dialog we adjusted the reference file to be first in the list and the active file to be last in the list. The space labels now show up "on top" of the rendered spaces.
I created a sheet file and referenced in the drawing model and plotted it to a pdf. The labels appear "on top" throughout the whole process.
So we now have a rendered space plan with the labels on top.
