Hello,
I've created restrooms in my design model that are populated with the plumbing fixtures (toilet, sink etc.). The "saved" floor plan view looks fine, but when I create a section view of the room the fixtures do not show up in the sectional view.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
W. Marcus
If you are using Dynamic Views, you need to turn off Drawing Symbols in the building view attributes tab as these cells only have plan symbols.
If you are using the DEM for drawings the same applies except you do this in the Extraction manager dialog where you turn off "Compound Cells Plan Symbols" for the Cut, Forward and Reflected views.
Thanks Dennis.
When you turn this off.. you lose your Door Swing Elevtaion Symbols... this is an issue that exists in the DEM as well as DV.
For ple plan keep drawing symbols on for 2d stuff
In the elevations either...
Cut off drawing symbols and your 3d object will show
Or
Make sure you place a 2d elevation element in the cell and then leade drawing symbols off to only disp lay any 2d
The thing I don't like here is that I will see a line below the elevation where the side of the plan element is
