I learned a lot from "Discussion website" and from the information that is delivered when you install Parametric Cell Studio. Those are limited but important resources.
A better approach would be to let Generative Components export "paz" files and get rid of Parametric Cell Studio. GC is more flexible with parametric modeling. Parametric Cell Studio is very limited and tedious software to work with.
I agree - also using feature forms with constraints and a compound cell.
But someone has to be willing to make small changes within these areas to tie them together

I liek the result of PCS but it is very hard to use.
I can acheive a model of somehting far quicker in MS but lose the variables such as height and width. If someone can build a stair with these smarts I could probably do more in MS 9(as I know this product) and somehow make constrained compound cells, but:
1. I must be able to use Parts of Catalog Instances
2. Id need vatiables that I could edit like I do on doors and windows.
3. Be able to edit compound cells and have them stay compund cells.
