Hello
Is it safe to assume that the metric dataset that was made available for the Beta version of AECOSIM can be used with the current version of AECOSIM. If not, is there any indication of a timeline when this will be available?
Indeed, .... I haven't used the new AECOSIM yet. One of the main reasons being that I'm waiting to see if the metric dataset has been improved and is indeed a 'real metric dataset' and not just the imperial one re-badged.
From what you could make out off the one with the Beta version, was this much different from the one in BA SS1?

Although I don't have a definitive timeframe, I believe the first three regional metric datasets - GB, ANZ and SG (Singapore) - should be available soon. The GB one in particular was revamped from the ground up based on the British Standard BS1192.
I am not talking about regional datasets, what I am talking about is the Dataset NM (Neutral Metric).
This one should have been delivered with the first WIP, so that we could begin testing.
Only then we could have a chance of finding metric related bugs, as mentioned here.
NM Dataset should be along soon, if I hear a date I'll post back here.
Marc
Thanks.
I see that it is mentioned in the sticky post abour regional workspaces now.

I looked on the Select Download site as above and found all the other advertised Datasets (CN, ANZ, SE, DK, USM) but not the GB one !!!!
It should be there, I will point out its absence to the team.
Due to a minor administrative error the Dataset GB was listed under the wrong category. This will probably be rectified in the next 24 hours. In the meantime search software downloads with Product and category fields set to All and 'Files posted within last' to 1 month. It will then show up in the list. (second item down at the time of writing).
Once the error is fixed it will show up in the AECOsim list as expected.
or search by product line...
The NM Dataset was posted a couple of days ago.
