Is anybody else having an issue where the structural cutbacks in AECOsim are only working about half of the time? It's not always the case but it seems to happen quite often for me when I'm connecting a member between 2 members and only one side copes. Then if I try to manually cope the un-coped side using the cutback tool, nothing changes. I do have "Cope to any interfering member" set when I'm placing them. It makes running Clash Detection useless.

I just tried a few simple tests and it seems to be working OK here. Are you placing any particular section types?
Hi Steve,
I'm basically only placing two types, L-channels and I-beams. They are all metric though.
Hmm... I'm still not seeing that when using the new UK GB dataset - angles connecting I-beams, and I-beams connecting angles. How about other shapes such as Tees and C channels?
If they're all behaving the same, you may want to try renaming your prefs folder just to see if that makes any difference.
I am experiencing the same issue. Within my message center it says that the element has a feature with the wrong PQ assignment but the beams were placed using structural snaps. If i place between the same steel using the "place steel members framing between" it copes fine most of the time (meaning the PQ is ok) but sometimes even this will cope only one end to the specified settings while the other end is given a planar cut back.
