This may be a little hard to explain. One of my users has a sheet drawing that he has drawn a section marker in. If he references this sheet into another sheet in a separate file, the section marker does not show up. However, if he places a section marker in the first sheet with "none" set for the drawing seed under the place section tool then that section marker will show up in the second file. Now if he goes back to the first sheet where the section marker resides, selects the section marker and chooses the create drawing from the fly out then the same section marker in the second sheet (where it is referenced to) disappears. I have not come across this before because I normally place my section markers directly in my models but I have been able to reproduce this by follwing his workflow.

Markers are by default turned off in Sheets. Could this be what you're seeing?
Hiya - I may be having a similar problem. I have created separate files for each dynamic view and then tried to 'place' the model directly onto the sheet file which contains my title block. When the sections are placed in this way the placement indicator changes, the view name changes but the 'sheet number' displays as a ###.
Does anyone have any ideas why it isn't shown a drawing number?
Hi Mike,
The field in the Drawing Title is the Sheet Name value wherever the Drawing Title exists. In the screen capture below I'm first showing the default Sheet Name as it was created followed by a rename.
