BIM Manager Workshop - Sept 9-13 in Reston, VA

A BIM Manager Workshop has been posted on the Bentley LEARN Server to be held September 9-13 in Reston, VA.  Mark Wilhelmsen and I will be teaching the hands-on workshop that will cover the just released SELECTseries 4 product enhancements (though the description on the LEARNserver says SELECTseries 3).

The last BIM Manager Workshop was held in March and filled up in less than a week so if you are interested most quickly.

We are now offering a four-day BIM Managers Workshop for AECOsim Building Designer.  After completing this workshop participants will understand the principles of workspace configuration and content customization for AECOsim Building Designer, Bentley Navigator and i-Model Composer in a multi-disciplinary environment.  Participants will also be familiar with the BIM Process and the roles and responsibilities of a BIM Manager.

Topics Covered:

  • BIM Process Management, Best Practices, and Strategies
  • AECOsim Building Designer Configuration, Administration & Customization
  • Design Review Process
  • Bentley Navigator Configuration, Administration & Customization

  • Some additional information for FAQ's:

This is not offered as a Distance Learn Class because it is a hands-on workshop that is not conducive to a group training environment via Distance Learn.  Perhaps you could ask your account manager about having account-specific Distance Learn for specific modules of the course.

There has been discussion about having a BIM Manager Workshop in the London, but nothing has been scheduled.  If you are interested in attending a workshop in London let your account manager know  so that they are aware of the demand for it.

  • I am not sure if this is full yet, but thought I would bump it up to the top in case anyone missed it the first time around.
