Hi everyone. We are currently working in a project and we're having (3) problems regarding with the generated text in plan callout.
1.(BOP) Bottom of Pipe and (BOD) Bottom of Duct in Round Ducts doesn't seem to appear in the plan view that we created using the correct seed and Drawing Rules.
2. And also, is there a way to keep the text that we've moved to suit in place? 'Coz they always seem to return to its original place when modifications are made from models, i.e. change in elevation and size.
3. Text Height. We are using 2.5mm text scale. is there a way to keep it 2.5mm using a unit accuracy of 0 and not 0.1? We have to use 0 instead of 0.1 because the generated text will be i.e. 200.0mm x 100.0mm instead of 200mm x 200mm. But if we use 0 accuracy for it to appear right, the text height will generate 3mm text scale.
I hope I made my questions clear on this one... Thanks!!
same problem hope there is answers ?
Seems to be working OK here in Ss4. Are you sure the rule has Top and/or Bottom checked on with an appropriate font and size, and that the components you're looking at are included in that rule?
yes I am sure ,BOD is working for rectanagular duct only .its not appear on pipe or circuilar duct
Something must still be missing... attached is a simple example where both Round Duct and Piping display size and BOD values in the Drawing Model.
Steve, how exactly did you generate that DV drawing model. I believe there are more ways than one. Depending on the method, perhaps there is a rule function that gets overlooked. -Because in my SS4 experience, rectangular and oval duct elevs are top/bottom only, round duct elevs are centerline only, non-sloped pipe elevs are centerline only, and sloping pipe is invert only.
Thanks,
