Paul, can you clarify? Is this a new deal, or always been avail? I mean, following a long chain of links, I find
AECOsim Building Designer Ask the Instructor V8i (Base Release,SELECTseries 1,SELECTseries 2,SELECTseries 3) - English
is FREE (GBP75 crossed out). So I assume it's new - I don't remember finding this before.
If so, why not make a great fanfare, loud and clear, instead of it still being found only with determination and a little pre-knowledge? As one of the hitherto grumblers, it's a dream come true!
Or maybe, having taken one (my first) class, subsequent ones will show as GBP 75.

We have had metric sessions ready, we just didn't have the live instructor led sessions schedulded on a regular basis. And we took our US sample and converted over to a GB sample (may not be perfect but it shows file organization, etc). Which will be an included link to download when you register for any of these sessions.
The Ask The Instructor sessions are free, so that is what you are seeing for those sessions. We've tried to schedule these on a regular basis, with some focused on architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical and some general.
I'm hoping that posting the schedule on the forum is part of the fanfare! (Don't have a trumpet or french horn but could do a harmonica one...)
The cost of the sessions are related to your training subscription status, as noted in the post.

I've dug around the Learn website and have assembled the attached - which makes it clearer to me. It seems the Ask the Instructor sessions are FREE, everything else is paid-for, except the current (new?) SIG deal.
The basic MS Ask the Instructor session I did recently was brilliant.

The "Ask The Instructor" sessions are free. These sessions are two hours long and are basically open to any questions the attendees have. Looks like the SIG ones are free also, the instructor for those is Tom Lazear of Archway Systems, Huntington Beach, CA,USA.
For the free sessions you should see the price "struck through". Like this:
