ABD 08.11.09.593
We have been experiencing ongoing issues with the above tools.
Initially everything works as intended after install, however after some time we experience an exception error on all files when initating either of the two tools with the following message dialog:
ListBox StringLists must have at least one infoField; see item of type 'ListBox', id=341003 from "TFWALL"
Has anyone else encountered this?
It would seem that it occurs only when the system is accessing the company datasets located on our central server.
If we choose to 'ignore' the problem on the exception error dialog box the tool then initiates.
I have tried deleting the 'wallszs.rsc' in the dataset 'data' folder to no avail.
Any advice would be most welcome as it is really impacting production.
I haven't been able to locate any instances of that particular error message. Though it does seem to indicate that some part of the UI cannot be drawn to some type of data issue, in this case a drop-down list. If you connect to your dataset locally, do the results change?
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the response.
I have not encountered the same issue when testing with the dataset locally. It seems to be an issue when the dataset is accessed over the netwrok.
Interestingly, as I mention, everything works fine directly after installation and only manifests after some time.
It sounds as though something is changing with your network environment that affects ABD's ability to find some part of its dataset. You may want to try using Configuration Explorer with a new install, save that, and then repeat when the results change. Then compare the two files to see if anything has changed from our end.
