Schedule_Architecture_SpaceProgram.xlsx has units "sf".
I wonder if that is square feet. In this case it should be changed, as it is a metric dataset.
Hi Andreas,
The problem is not related to the Dataset you are using, but to your Architectural preferences working units.
If you go to the Architectural Preferences inside AECOsim, you have the option to specify the Unit you want to use for Area Measure, as you can see in the next picture:
You can see the units used into Datagroup Explorer and in the excel reports are the one you have defined there
Hope this helps you.
As far as I can see you have set Datagroup Explorer - Data - Working Unit Format to Text.
Try the same thing setting Working Unit Format to Numeric - Master Units.
The reason why I ask for this is that Excel can't do any calculations in the difference and actual volume columns if values are transferred as text, which is also visible in your screenshot.
You are right. In that case the values are square meters but the text says "sf". I will investigate and escalate it.
Thanks for reporting it.
Andreas,
I have updated the excel file and we will include it in the next version of the NM Dataset.
Meanwhile, you can download it the updated excel template from the below ftp address and copy it to your ..\WorkSpace\BuildingDatasets\Dataset_NM\datagrouplayouts folder.
ftp://ftp.bentley.com/pub/outgoing/EduardoCortes/Schedule_Architecture_SpaceProgram.xlsx
Thanks for advice us.
