I think I've picked up a glitch in SS4. When I look in DataGroup Explorer at the quanities for Beams, Slabs, Columns, etc... I get a readout similar to that below:
The values are all correct as metric numbers in line with all my Working Units settings.
But.... the field headings however seem to be showing imperial units for volume (cu.ft), weight (lb / ft), material density (lb / cu.ft), etc...
As I say, I'm fairly confident that the actual numbers are metric so it's just a question of incorrect labelling of the fields. Guessing this should be an easy fix?

Interesting... using the NM Full dataset I'm not seeing any unit values on those column headings. Is this something that may have been customized?
Hi Mark,
change the units (imperial to metric) in the building info and the Dataset Explorer should show te rigth label.
I'm afraid that doesn't work Karsten.
My units are already set to Metric in that menu. I've tried switching to imperial and back to metric again - no change to the Dataset Explorer though...
Any other ideas?
did you check the workspace->preferences?
Yes, already tried that and its set to metric. So are the Design File working units.
I can't find any reference to imperial units anywhere other than these column headings - given the numbers are displaying as metric figures I think it really is a system glitch.
If I change the DataSet Explorer from numeric to text display the imperial units show in the table too.
