Cut patteren

Question

I cant see the cut pattern in section of concrete , what is the possibilty?

 There are a couple things that you would need to check. 
 
 Regardless if it is a drawing extraction or dynamic view you could need to check that the "Cut Patterns" option is turned ON for the Cut Plane. 
 You should look at the Family/Part settings for the Part that is assigned to the concrete form being cut. (follow the steps below or reference the Help menu for Family & Parts for additional information) 
 Change the Parts View Definition to 'Cut Patterns' and highlight the part that is assigned to the concrete form. 
 You should see previews across the top, where the second one is a preview of what that Part should look like when sectioned (if the part is a 'Structural' Part Type, then the Section & Forward/Reflected previews will not appear at the top). 
 
 If it looks the way you want it to, then the issue is most likely with the Drawing Extraction or Dynamic View settings. 
 If it doesn't look the way you want keep reading. 
 
 Right-click on the part and choose Properties. A new dialog window will open. 
 Make sure Active is ON for Cut Pattern Type 
 Toggle Patterning ON 
 From Pattern Cell: choose a concrete pattern cell (CONCRT is delivered in many of the datasets) 
 Adjust the scale as needed to get the graphics the way you want them. 
 If you want to change the color/lineweight of the pattern, temporarily toggle on Linear Hatching or Cross Hatching and change the Color, Style, Weight settings under Hatching to your liking, and then turn Patterning toggle ON again. 
 Click 'OK' on the dialog and then Commit Changes to the dataset (greenish icon with lightning bolt or Dataset > Commit Changes)

You may try seeing if pattern cell you are using is being found on your laptop. 
 If you select on cell in your parts library it will indicate that it is not found. 
 When cell in part library can't be found it will not distinguish itself by turning red or some 
 other indicator. The only way to tell is to pick cell.

dweib, try reducing the pattern's Distance 1 and 2 values - does that help?
