Is it possible to back reference a sheet name (we call sheet identification number) in a drawing title? For example, if we have a building section cut on sheet A-110 and placed on sheet A-301, can it’s drawing title bubble on A-301 show 1/A-110 where it is cut from? We can’t seem to get it to work. All we get is 1/A-301 in the drawing title bubble on sheet A-301 which is not a “back reference”.
The Sheet Name value is what displays in the active Sheet's Drawing Title, so a reference attachment's source won't have any impact in this case. You might be able to modify the links using the information in this Wiki, but I've never tried this particular scenario.

This is typical that the cuts are on the plan but the sections are on other sheets. This would be the link I'd also like to see in an index and TOC
I read the article and this has to be made automatic as it is quicker manually

@Eric, after reading the article and trying it on my files, I can't see how to do it manually either... forget about automatically. Can you?
@Steve, As stated above, I can't get it to work automatically or manually and don't think it can be done. That is strange as back referencing sheet id numbers (sheet names) is a very common practice. For now I just double clicked the drawing title bubble’s sheet name (1/A-301 while in sheet A-301) and overtyped the field with the text A-110. It’s not great, but it is better than showing 1/A-301 on sheet A-301. I find this process seamless in Revit.
Thanks to both of you.

You're welcome.
I know we have (at least) a few Enhancements logged with our Platform team for expanding how files and models are or can be linked, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was somewhere in that list...
It may be worthwhile cross-posting to the MicroStation forum to see if others have tried this before.
