Yeah.... Mine's OK too. Matt, did you add any customized files to the delivered dataset or project folders? If you look at the Workspace Config dialog, does it look like all the TFDIR and ATFDIR variables are pointing to *only* the delivered locations

Not that I've ever tried this myself - being in support I don't have the need - but I'd imagine you could create the required folders at the project level, then add those paths to the applicable DG_ config variables so these new files are found. As long…

You should be able to do a TFREBUILD on those doors once the changes have been made to the PAZs and the DataGroup System has been refreshed.

I haven't done this type of thing in a looong time, but what Shawn describes sounds about right. When starting the Catalog Editor outside of MicroStation, you are by default prompted to select a project, since that defines which set of data to load.

This probably is something better suited to an more in-depth support review, but... typically that message means that there's something "out of sync" in the DataGroup System. IOW, the door was placed with one set of DG data, which by editing time has…

Anyone, We have a client requesting Bentley BIM, eventually AECOSim and I’m trying to get a handle on the different Bentleys content options. what works with the dataset catalogs and what doesn’t, what is parametric and what isn’t. From what I can…

That type of information is better covered in the Bentley Architecture help since that's where most of the setup takes place. See the section " Establish DataGroup System Catalogs - Tutorial " for more info.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're trying to do, but, you could add properties to the Space schema (xsd file), create a space label with those properties added, and then use level control to dispay only the relevant portions of the label for…

    • PCS doors - How do you change the line style of the hinge/swing indicator?

      Brian Thomas
      Brian Thomas
We noticed that the PCS doors (HM and wood) have a hinge/swing indicated drawn for use when extracting an elevation. How do you change the style of this? We would like for it to be dashed while the rest of the door elevation remain a solid line. T…
