I have installed OBD update 9 version 10.09.02.36 and while installing you may change the configuration to another drive on my network. Just followed BIM Management 301: Installation and Upgrade Guide OpenBuildings Designer on Bentley learn site. But…

Hi Michael... I think that was just an idea to see if it worked, since the other variables use a similar naming convention. Whether the code existed to actually use that variable was a different story, but obviously it does not. I guess it seemed like…

Thanks Shawn! I solved the problem. The Datagroup Catalog editor opens "tflocal.cfg" instead of "atflocal.cfg" or any other application related cfg files. Since our custom "cfg" is fired when "Architecture" is used, it was pointing to "atflocal…

Not that I've ever tried this myself - being in support I don't have the need - but I'd imagine you could create the required folders at the project level, then add those paths to the applicable DG_ config variables so these new files are found. As long…

There are many ways for variables to be defined and redefined, but you may want to first check _USTN_USER in msconfig.cfg and _USTN_PROJECT in tflocal.cfg. Alternately, you could run an msdebug by simply add "-debug" (without the quotes) at the…

I haven't done this type of thing in a looong time, but what Shawn describes sounds about right. When starting the Catalog Editor outside of MicroStation, you are by default prompted to select a project, since that defines which set of data to load.
