I am currently modelling a large open plan office space across multiple floors. It contains a tree on the first floor the extrudes through an atrium onto the second floor. I do not know how to form this atrium within the floor?
Hello Ryan, please see how to do so in this article.

Hi Shane,
Thank you for the link to the article. The atrium I need to model is through the centre of pre-modelled floors and therefore the method in the attached article doesn't apply. The atrium in question is also circular in shape.
Thanks
Hi Ryan,
Please note if you used Hevacomp previously, where the workaround for Atria was for individual floors to be combined via Atrium keywords, that the same workflow does not apply in OpenBuildings. This was only necessary in Hevacomp as room adjacencies could only exist on one floor. Energy Simulator on the other hand automatically recognise adjacent rooms, independent of what floor they are on.
If you needed more specific advice in relation to your model if you liked I could take a look at the project in question. Please let me know and I can send you a link to upload.
