The promote view feature is not an aspect I deal with often, but it is causing me problems at the moment. When I promote the view the staircase and other elements such as doors, floor slabs and screeds are all disappearing.
The elements only become visible when the view is demoted. This applies to standard BIM objects and modelled solids that have a part applied to them.
In most cases the staircase designs are bespoke so I tend to model them as solids and apply parts. I copied the attributes of the A-G23-Stairs part from the DataSet GB into the project specific parts library, renamed it and also made some modifications to how it is represented. The staircase then is not making use of re-symbolisation. It is difficult therefore to determine what the problem is.
Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this?
