Good afternoon,
On my CIBSE heat gain calculations I'm getting an error against most of the rooms for the Sensible gain. When I dig into the calculation it's because the mean sol-air temperature is not being calculated correctly and returns a value of NaN as per the third image below. Do you have any ideas as to why this is? I have followed the video tutorials up until now but with my own model so I'm not sure what the issue could be.
Many thanks
Hi John,
This usually is a result of opening the model in an unrelated Workset, as in Wiki below:
Error in Solar Gains - OpenBuildings | AECOsim | Speedikon Wiki - OpenBuildings | AECOsim | Speedikon - Bentley Communities
I can take a look at the project if you would like to forward the Workset and DGN in question (as shown here)?

Hi Shane, I have followed the share file link and get the error message as seen in the first image below: When I click back to sign in and input my details which work for every Bentley log in I get the error message as per the second image. I know my details work as this is how I've logged into Bentley Communities. I am perfectly happy to upload the work set and DGN once I get the link working.
Hi Shane, I have found the source of the issue. The weather data was for an obscure location, once I changed the location there were no errors, I repeated this for several different locations and it worked. NaN may stand for not a number? essentially the weather file had gaps in.
Morning John,
Many thanks for letting us know, glad to hear you got to the bottom of this. What weather location had you selected? I will run tests here and relay this to development.
Also, regarding NaN - yes that is correct, it usually arises if a zero unexpectedly appears in a calculation as a factor/divisor.
