Energy simulation of ceiling fan

If I interpret your query correctly, a conventional ceiling fan would solely circulate the existing air rather than treat it, so there would  be no HVAC plant to size in this instance. Only HVAC components that treat the air by heating/cooling/conditioning will be available in the software.

To add Shane's point, a ceilling fan being functional in a building adds as a passive measure (cause of its low energy consumption) and a HVAC system acts as an active measure for the system.
