Hi
I have the following problems with my Part L 2013 which I don't seem to be able to rectify. Under Criterion 2 the Wall element is shown failing, it's Partition 8 (which is wrong in itself) - I've been through each room on screen and the paper printouts but can find no error.
Anyone got any ideas or is my program just corrupt ?

Hi Graham, nothing wrong with the program - under certain conditions partitions are taken into account as part of the SBEM check for criterion 2. Please find info here:

Actually that would be helpful, I've actual had other problems with this file but slowly over a number of days they've rectified themselves apart from this one issue.
For any other users who may be experiencing similar, in this particular instance SBEM flagged these partitions as they were adjacent to unconditioned rooms - i.e. rooms that had the HVAC System Type in PartL set to "No Heating or Cooling".
They were no longer flagged upon either improving the U-value of these surfaces, or adding HVAC to the unconditioned rooms.
