Removing unused active levels from the Level Manager

Thanks for inquiring about my issue. Yes, I’m still on v8i as it works very well in most cases with my perpetual Microstation license.

I know about dgnlibs that should not be loaded if you don´t need all those levels. The problem is that I can´t see which dgnlib is loading which levels. Sometimes there is a library indicated on the property dialog for an unused level but when selected in the ConfigVar dialog the system cannot find it for deletion.

I understand your method  “BB_DVLEVELSDISABLE” = 1 will take out all unused levels; but only for the Connect Edition as I don´t find it in my system. My question is if that somehow could work also for v8i?  (a MDL, a macro?)

Sorry, I don’t see how to attach a sample DGN here. Please explain.

I have tried to find this BB_DVLEVELSDISABLE config variable in ABD V8i but couldn't find it.

So, let me have some further digging into this and I'll let you know about the outcome.
