When accessing the project tree on one of our projects the software shuts itself down with no error codes given please help.

Thanks for letting us know about this.
Can you please try to remove your "Prefs" folder from this location: "C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenBuildingsDesigner" and then restart your OpenBuildings Energy Simulator? Please refer to the screengrab below for reference.

unfortunately this hasn't seemed to have work and the program still crashes with not error codes.
Have you got any other ideas?

Is the crash happening with one project or any other projects as well?
