Model files tend to gain in size after creating drawing views. For example, our files are expanding to (approx) 180MB, but reducing to (approx) 180KB when all 8 views are demoted and the file is compressed.
User was instructed to use BB_ACCELERATE_DYNAMICS configuration variable to speed up the display of their dynamics. The following settings will change the acceleration of the file.None (Default) - Part attributes are displayed during all view navigation and dynamics.Low - To accelerate display performance, Part attributes are not displayed during all view navigation and dynamics in the context of Dynamic viewsHigh - To further accelerate display performance , Part attributes are not displayed during all view navigation and dynamicsUnification cache is stored in drawing views and this tends to make the file size larger. You could "Compress" the file to reduce its size, but it will remove all unification cache and enhancements that are designed to speed the opening of the file. The next time the model is opened it will take a longer period of time to create the unification cache and speed enhancements again. This is how the product was designed to work to minimize slowness in the file.dynamics in the context of Dynamic views.
