What does the Soft Clearance setting in the Clash Detection dialog do?
Soft Clearance specifies an extra distance that will be added between two or more components during the clash detection process. Any value added to the Soft Clearance field is then applied to the elements in the applicable set(s).
NOTE: If a large value is applied to either set, elements may be reported as clashes even if their geometry does not truly clash. Therefore care should be taken when using this setting to insure that the clash results are not overtly inaccurate.
