Grid model to be displayed outside of the clip reference

Problem Description

We're working on a fairly large building that won't fit on one sheet in plan. When placing my partial plan on a sheet and using Grid from the files presentation settings, is there any way to get my column bubbles to display outside of the area that's been broken? Currently we're using a clip boundary to clip the extents is there a better way to do this?

Steps to Resolve

The clip has to be applied in the Drawing Model instead of the Sheet Model, then the grid should display outside of the clipped reference area.
