Problem

When exporting a managed workspace from ProjectWise Administrator, the first 3 tasks will complete, Gathering configuration settings blocks, Creating temporary configuration files and Gathering data for configuration files, but the fourth task, Resolving relative paths stops and hangs.

Solution

When exporting a managed workspace from ProjectWise Administrator, the first 3 tasks will complete, Gathering configuration settings blocks, Creating temporary configuration files and Gathering data for configuration files, but the fourth task, Resolving relative paths stops and hangs.

The fourth task "Resolving relative paths":  ProjectWise compiles all relative paths in the configuration files and converts them to actual identifiers for the workspace data which will be copied out.

This could mean that the user needs to check the paths of the configuration variables in the configuration files to be sure they are correct, but a restart of the ProjectWise server has been known to fix the problem.
