ABD Electrical SS6 only supports Excel 2010, but you can trick it to work with any version with a quick registry edit.Use the command REGEDIT in the command line or start regedit.exe in C:\Windows\SysWOW64
1. In the Registry search for the entry, EXCELAPPLICATION.16 (for Excel 2016). You can use the highest number EXCELAPPLICATION that you find under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.2. Copy the value from the Key CLSID which is listed under Excel.Application.16.3. Select HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and create a new key with the name EXCELAPPLICATION.124. Select EXCELAPPICATION.12 and create a new key with the name CLSID under it.5. Insert the copied value data from EXCELAPPLICATION.16 > CLSID to EXCELAPPICATION.12 > CLSID.AECOsim Electrical will now be able to find Excel when using the Output Manager.
