Problem

Rendered display of an Autodesk 2017 dwg file opened in AECOsim Building Designer SS6 is not correct.  When the file is rendered, for instance in Illustation mode, beams will disappear.  In Wireframe, they all display correctly.

Solution

AECOsim Building Designer SS6 Readme states that when you install AECOsim Building Designer V8i, the following application is installed with it:
Bentley V8i - Autodesk® RealDWG™ 2016

Autodesk 2017 is not supported.
