    Material Lost after Model is Merged into Master file

    Problem

    Material is assigned to model using 'Apply Material' tool from Visualization tab.

    After merging model into Master file, Material is lost.

    Solution

    1. After creating Model, use 'Apply Part' tool from 'Change Attributes' toolbox.

    2. Select nearest (suitable) Family and Part from respective dropdown.

    3. Select model.

    Part and Famiy assigned

    4. After assigning Part and Family, Merge into Master file.

    Material is retained in the Model.
