Problem

Parametric Cell Studio doesn't have a Solid by Revolution tool, so the Sweep method can be used to reflect this functionality. Care must be taken as sweeping a circular or closed path can be inaccurate.

If the sweep is not completed correctly, the solid may not be created.

Solution

This issue can be solved in a two-step workflow.

• Starting the sweep – Place the component on the starting snap point of the circle. (Highlighted in yellow, below) Use the handle to control the extent of the sweep.
• Closing the sweep - To close the sweep, right click on the handle and then choose Close.
