Background

User cannot snap to modelled content referenced into a layout from a cached view. Content is 'snappable' in the model but not in the drawing.

Steps to Accomplish

Please go through the following steps to solve this issue:-

• Open the Sheet Border File in AECOsim Building Designer.
  
  
  
  
• The picture below shows that the Section within the Sheet layout is not 'snappable'.
  
  
  
  
• You can switch ON the Snap button on the References dialogue box as shown in the image below.
  
  
• You can also switch ON the Snap button from the Reference Presentation Dialogue box as well. Open the Set Reference Presentation box from Reference dialogue box and then go to Clip Volume Settings.
