The steps to create an AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition Deployment Image are similar to those in MicroStation CONNECT: How to create a Deployment Image. To avoid duplication we have not reproduced that content here.
The significant difference in AECOsim Building Designer's installation is the choice of regional datasets:
Note that in 10.00.00.154 the installer will download all available installable content regardless of the selections made at this stage. While this is necessary for Deployment Images that offer the 'Full UI Mode', where the user can make choices during installation that potentially require any of the available downloads, selection of Passive or No UI Modes should select downlaods accordingly. A defect has been filed to resolve this. In the meantime the total download is about 9Gb so please allow time when preparing for Deployment Image creation.
Once the Deployment Image is created installations from that image will use only the selected components.
