I just tried to Uninstall ABD CONNECT Edition while I had a file open with ABD SS6 U1.

I was prompted to Close running version of ABD before it would continue.

Aren't these totally separate installations?

Solution

Yes, however, the application class name in the registry is the same. There is always a default version of ABD and that is the last version installed.

The files and directories are not being shared between V8i and CONNECT, but we do need to update some registry values.
