Configuration Variables Dialog is enhanced in CONNECT Edition

Product(s): OpenBuildings Designer (and AECOsim Building Designer)
      Version(s): CONNECT Edition
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Configuration
      Subarea: UI

This dialog is enhanced in CONNECT Edition; made resizable for easier reading, it displays more information and has a search function and improved output options:

See How to create a list of all CONNECT Edition Configuration Variables for how to use the Configuration Variables Dialog > File menu >  Print Variable information feature. This now pops up a dialog telling you where the resulting files have been created.

The Configuration Variables Dialog > File menu > Show Configuration variables feature sends all of the current variable values to a text file and opens that file. This is particularly useful for understanding how the state of the configuration varies between Workspaces and/or WorkSets.

Note that a quick way to find the current value of a configuration variable id to use the key-in: expand echo $(<variableName>).

    E.g: expand echo $(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)
