Is the AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition installer similar to the one used for MicroStation CONNECT Edition?
Yes, AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition uses the same installer technology as MicroStation CONNECT Edition. Please see the "How to Install" video included in this MicroStation CONNECT Edition wiki for general information about the new installer look and feel.
Also, the AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition installer also introduces the concept of "Companion Installers", as outlined in this Wiki article: Why are there "Companion" products displayed in the installer dialog?
Updates to the Commercial release will be available via the CONNECTION Client or as downloads from the Fulfillment Center in the conventional manner.
